Loads for bass players we know use these strings all the time - and I swear to god its really hard to tell any difference between these and the 'Big Name' strings. Plus at this price you can change your strings every few gigs for a clearer and warmer fresh sound, and not worry about cost! In fact at this price you can bite 'em off with your teeth whilst setting fire to the singers hair with a blow torch. If you so wish. I wouldn't fancy your dentist bill.

They've passed the 'I only use Elites/D'addario' test on more than one occasion - where we put our strings in the 'Big Name Brands' packaging, and gave them to an 'expert' to test. Along with a pack of the same strings in our packaging. Their response (as if you couldn't guess): 'The Elites strings sounded clearer, lasted longer, overall they were far superior'. Then we tell them what we did, and they feel silly. Wonderful!

We're informed by our supplier that these quality strings are made by the company who manufacture the string winding machines that Elites, D'addario etc all use, so you're not compomising with quality either! Let's face it, if the string winding machine makers don't know how to make strings then we've got a problem! All that, and they come in a novelty pack with our cartoon noggins on the front! Lovely.
