What are you looking for in an amplifier?
Great Sound - You've got a clean channel and an overdrive channel (operated via a push switch - no footswitch option), volume control, bass & treble controls for EQ'ing the sound to your liking. It's a 10 watt amp that sounds like 20 watt. Watt for Watt, and £ for £, it'll dangle the berries off any other amp of the same value.
Versatility - The input comes in the form of a 1/4" jack socket (works with your standard guitar lead), and the amp also features a headphone socket. Plugging in your headphones mutes the loudspeaker so you won't keep your mam/brother/sister/her indoors awake with yer late-night-noodling! It also features a nifty little input for iPod, CD, tape etc.. which is ideal when practicing along to your favourite songs. And it can be used for electric violin, vocals etc, anything with a 1/4" jack plug really. You might want to lay off the distortion button though with a violin....or would you?!
Certainly not recommended for bass guitar though.
Originality - Lets face it - you don't want to have the same gear as all their mates, and you don't want something which looks rubbish. These are the best looking amps in their price range, and probably the best sounding too!
