Great Sound - Invented by the legendary amplifier designer Bruce Zinky in the 1980's, the Smokey Amp delivers a whopping 1 Watt of amplification and distortion for your electric guitar playing pleasure. Its single channel (with distortion) however you can control the amount of gain by simply adjusting the volume on your guitar! Where it really steps into its own is when you plug it straight into an external speaker cab - read on!
Versatility - The Smokey Amp can be used stand alone as a portable travel amp, but will also power ANY 4, 8 or 16 ohm speaker cabinet, including 4x12s. And beleive you'll be astounded how loud it is through a cab. I tried it with another berry dangler singing and playing a jumbo acoustic, and it drowned him out. Which takes some doing, as he's a noisy little ****** at the best of times! It can even be used on the input of another amp as a fuzz box. Each Smokey Amp is fitted with two UK made CLIFF® jack sockets with self-cleaning corrosion resistant contacts for long term reliability. And its small enough to put in your shirt pocket too!
A 'Green' product - Its made in the USA from a real recycled cigarette box that has been reinforced from the inside. The nine volt battery (included) will last for about 10 hours continuous playing before you need to dispose of it into your local landfill!
