Item Description
General BabbleRichwood are a relatively new name in the UK, but already they're making some serious waves in the industry. They're made in the far east (in the same factories as many major brands) where the materials are cheaper than chips, yet the level of quality is miles above that of any western country. For this reason, we decided to concentrate solely on selling Richwood Guitars, and also why we've never had anything but praise and astonishment at the quality of these awesome instruments. Specifications Anyway, thats enough babble....starting from the top, this 25.5" scale guitar has an exquisite vintage finish headstock, to which the 6 chrome machineheads are attached. The bolt-on maple (vintage finished) neck has a reinforced mahogany strip, and of course contains a truss rod for those fine neck adjustments. The maple fingerboard contains 21 frets. Down to the solid alder body, we find a stunning vintage finish to the paintwork, onto which the 3 ply scratchplate sits. Within this scratchplate we find the usual suspects - the 3 single coil pickups, 5 way elector switch, classic strat-style tremelo, and the traditional 1 volume/2 tone control setup. A chrome jack socket finishes off this beauty. Looks Awesome - a stunning replica of possibly the most popular guitar in the world. At a fraction of the price! The pics tell you the whole story - the vintage finish to the neck and fingerboard make this guitar stand out way above most other guitars of this price. If this had a Fender logo on the headstock, you'd happily pay anywhere between £500 - £1500. Why bother when you can have one of these at a fraction of the cost?! Sounds All the distinctive Strat sounds ooze out of this beast, almost identical to the very guitar which it emulates! No matter which pickup configuration you're using, you're never far off those classic tones. Speaking of Tone, the tone control actually makes a difference too, unlike many other guitars in this price range. |
