Item Description
About RichwoodRichwood are a relatively new name in the UK, but already they're making some serious waves in the industry. They're made in the far east (in the same factories as many major brands) where the materials are cheaper than chips, yet the level of quality is miles above that of any western country. For this reason, we decided to concentrate solely on selling Richwood Guitars, and also why we've never had anything but praise and astonishment at the quality of these awesome instruments. Specifications Starting from the top, this 25.5" scale guitar has an beautiful gloss finished headstock, to which the 6 gold Grover machineheads are attached, and the Mother of Pearl logo/pattern inlay are set into. The mahogany neck of course contains a truss rod for those fine neck adjustments. It has a Rosewood fingerboard containing 20 frets, and the traditional 'Dot' Mother of Pearl fret markers, plus a patterned inlay at the 12th fret. Down to the body (containing scalloped bracing), we find a solid Cedar top with satin finish, Mahogany back/sides, a Rosewood bridge, with cow bone bridge saddle, Wood inlay sound hole decoration and herringbone body inlay. Looks Awesome - Build quality second to none, and looks to kill. I'll let the pictures do the talking. If this had a Taylor logo on the headstock, you'd be paying about £2000. Why bother when you can have one of these at a fraction of the cost?! Sounds Warm bottom end, crisp top end - overall a big, beautiful sound from an ace piece of kit! |
